LEGOLAND® MALAYSIA OPENING SOON!

The countdown has begun and the wait is almost over for LEGOLAND® fans and enthusiasts across Asia. The year of the dragon will see LEGOLAND Malaysia opening its doors in Iskandar Malaysia, situated in the southern Malaysian State of Johor, a stone’s throw from Singapore. The park will be the sixth LEGOLAND to be built in the world and the very first in Asia. It will feature more than 40 attractions, shows and activities and have over 15,000 LEGO® models built out of more than 50 million LEGO bricks. Families will be immersed in a unique mix of kid-powered rides, building challenges, spectacular LEGO models, interactive attractions, family-friendly coasters and shows that pull the audience into the action.

LEGOLAND Parks are based on the universally popular LEGO construction toy range and uniquely target families with children between 2-12 years old. The attractions at LEGOLAND are all developed to capture the imagination and stimulate creativity, especially amongst the younger visitors, by getting them actively involved and making it possible for them to influence each experience. Some of the signature attractions that will be found at LEGOLAND Malaysia include the driving school where the children get to steer their own LEGO car as well as the Rescue Academy where the whole family work together to move a fire truck towards a house that is on fire in order to extinguish it! Overall the park is divided into seven themed areas. Each themed area is designed to ensure that heroes of all ages will find much to explore and enjoy in the zones ranging from the Land of Adventure, LEGO Technic, and Miniland. For those of you who can’t wait to get your hands on tickets there’s good news!  LEGOLAND Malaysia has launched a special promotion for annual passes that are aimed at families living near the park in Malaysia or Singapore who want to visit the park more than once a year. These pre-opening annual passes will be sold at a discounted price, with a validity that will take pass holders right into the entire year of 2013. These special prices are offered for a very limited period only, providing a great opportunity to give that perfect Children’s Gift.
