Executive Director Victor Ong related that Tiong Nam Properties Sdn Bhd (Tiong Nam Properties) had started in small-scale building and leasing of warehouses before diversifying into property development in 2009 to expand on its true value and potential. Within the Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters (SiLC), a clean, green managed industrial park in Iskandar Puteri (formerly Nusajaya) , Johor, the company has launched two developments namely Tiong Nam SiLC 5, a development featuring premium three-storey and four-storey shop offices and SiLC 6 which consists of contemporary double storey semi-detached factory premises.
The PTP Residence at Port of Tanjung Pelepas, Johor consists of walk-up apartment buildings while Pinetree Hotel represents a commercial development project in Batu Pahat, Johor.
Going beyond the state of Johor, the company has successfully launched its flagship property projects featuring detached and semi-detached factories in Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam. Due to its central location, unrivaled connectivity and other favourable characteristics, the PJ industrial park has reached full occupancy rate while the Shah Alam industrial park enjoys an occupancy rate close to 90% .
